TheSchoolGirl Inc. is a certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise. We are a community-driven organization set to promote collective growth through revitalization projects, and comprehensive enrichment activities. In an effort to connect Harlem’s youth and re-establish unity we created this community-based organization to focus on projects and experiences that evoke positivity and supports our environment.
Since 2021, we've organized Kids Field Day, free community events for children and other family members in Harlem, NY. It includes physical activities such as potato sack racing, archery, skateboarding lessons, obstacle course, arts & crafts, and much more. Our first Kids Field Day hosted 65 children ranging from ages 4-to 13 years old and provided community service hours for over twenty people.
We built partnerships with a local community-based organizations such as Harlem Children’s Zone, African American Commission Alliance, Harlem Park2Park and more.
Kids Field Day is Grounded in Three Mindsets:

In an effort to address the needs around reproductive justice, we hosted Beauty of Our Bodies, an enrichment workshop and community initiative to enhance the reproductive health conversations for teens. It gives young people the power to constructively talk about consent, sexual health, autonomy, gender expression and more!
