More About Our Programming

Kids Field Day

A community athletic and arts experience we call Kids Field Day, free for children and  family members in New  York. It includes physical activities such as potato sack racing, archery, skateboarding lessons, obstacle course, arts & crafts, and much more. It hosts participants ranging from ages 4-to 13 years old and provided community service hours for over twenty people.

This event is powered by organizations like

SkateEveryThingSchool , Adidas, Melba's Resturant,

and Harlem Park to Park and more.

Kids Field Day is Grounded in Three Mindsets:

-Children bringing their selves to engage in arts and craft, athletic and group activities.

-Creating a place for youth and family empowerment that will help activate the world.

-Servicing community to provide them with long-term wellness through positive engagement.

The Beauty of Our Bodies Workshop

In an effort to address the needs around reproductive justice, we hosted a  Beauty of Our Bodies, an enrichment workshop and community initiative to enhance the reproductive health conversations for teens. It gives young people the power to constructively talk about consent, sexual health, autonomy, gender expression, and more!

Beauty of Our Bodies teen enrichment workshop was a great success thanks to my wonderful village. Divine souls that  facilitated in this experience, Michelle Hope  author of The Girls' Guide to Sex Education: Over 100 Honest Answers to Urgent Questions about Puberty, Relationships, and Growing Up  she's also known  for her popular interview on The Breakfast Club. Michelle provided a 45-minute chat with our 20  High School participants.

The Culture Candy with Zalika Zeni and Ashley Miah provided the art experience for our participant. They got  create a chakra inspired acrylic paint canvas.

Each participant received wonderful henna on their hands from well known tattoo artist Jaz Paulino.

Heath Gallery provided a safe space for our participant and facilitator to feel comfortable.
